Adobe Photoshop is the undisputed king of raster image editing, with the sheer power, support, and wealth of training and resources the application offers. With that power, though, comes a prohibitive price tag.
Many people shell out the money for Photoshop, and then find that they use only a fraction of the features offered by Photoshop. Most casual digital artists and photo editors will find that a freeware or web based photo editor will do everything they need, at no cost.
Cloud computing may or may not be the future of software, but following are 15 free web based image editors.
